Good vibes today, good vibes. Yes, it’s early in the day, but I’ve been pretty productive all morning. I finished sorting, wrapping, and tying ribbon on all my ‘treat’ bags for my Winter Training project that is tomorrow. They are super cute! I ordered penguin marshmallows and picked up Christmas peanut M&M’s, Reeses, and York Peppermint Patties to make ‘Thank You’ favors. Had a little bit too much fun this morning at 4:30am tying glittery green ribbon on all of them. Now my ottoman and rug are covered in glitter.
I’ve cleaned most of the house, ran a load of dishes in the dishwasher, had my morning cup of Joe (black like I like it), and now I’m enjoying 3 egg whites for breakfast. I’m also going to prep dinner for the week before I hop in the shower and head to work. Ground turkey and quinoa, favorite healthy go-to recipe. You can never go wrong and you can have it so many ways.
I am planning my meals for the day, just like I stated in my list of goals in yesterday’s post. Today I will be eating the following:
1) 3 egg whites
2) 20 almonds
3) Lean meat salad, light dressing, with vegetables and beans
5) 300 calories / 32 grams of protein shake
6) Ground turkey, quinoa, corn, black bean, cheese, whole wheat wrap
I have decided I won’t have any sweets today, even though my goals allowed me one sweet treat a day. I want to prove to myself that I have the will power to say ‘No thank you’ to goodies that are offered to me. Today I am working out AFTER work since I stayed home this morning. I am scheduled 9:30am to 6:00pm this week, so HOPEFULLY I will get out on time. Yesterday I worked an extra hour and a half, so I left work at my normal scheduled time. Was pretty disappointed by that. Either way, I’m going to the gym after work, no matter how shitty I might feel.
Welp! Now that my house is clean, dishes are clean, dinner is prepped, floors are swept, bed is made, I am going to go take a shower and get ready for work. Hope everyone has a good Tuesday, I’ll be checkin’ back in later today XOXO…..
